- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- Your postcode
- Any details you add about your property or enquiry
If you call or email us directly, we keep a record of that correspondence. Our web host may also automatically log standard technical information (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and running.
3. How and why we use it
We use the information you give us to:
- Respond to your enquiry and provide a quote
- Arrange and carry out a survey, installation, service or repair
- Keep records of work we have quoted for or completed
- Meet our legal and regulatory obligations (for example F-Gas record-keeping)
Our lawful bases for processing are your consent (when you submit the form), taking steps to enter into a contract with you, and our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and running our business.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information and we never share it for marketing. We use a small number of trusted providers to run our website and business:
- Formspree — processes and delivers our online enquiry form. Your submission is transmitted and stored by Formspree so it can be emailed to us.
- Our web host and email provider — store the website and our email correspondence.
We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law.
5. Third-party content on this site
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts and a small number of software libraries from a content delivery network (unpkg). When your browser requests these files, those providers may receive your IP address. They do not set tracking cookies through our site. See our Cookie Policy for more.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information only as long as needed to deal with your request and for our legitimate business and legal record-keeping. Records relating to work we have carried out are kept for as long as required to support warranties and meet our obligations, then securely deleted.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- Ask us to delete your information where there is no good reason for us to keep it
- Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use your information
- Withdraw your consent at any time
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always appear on this page.
